This video features and describes the wet/dry trickle filter in my turtle tank. A wet/dry filter allows large amounts of oxygen to dissolve into the water which feed the bacteria that break down toxic ammonia and nitrites. Wet/dry filters are generally considered the best biological filters which is the most important kind of aquarium filtration.
